Micron Technology, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Sr Principal Technical Program Manager to lead CAD Engineering and AI initiatives. You will drive end-to-end CAD tool modernization and AI adoption across global teams, translating complex opportunities into executable roadmaps.

You will collaborate with CAD engineering, process technology, IT/HPC, data science and EDA vendors to deliver measurable business impact through production deployment and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 12+ years in semiconductor/EDA/high-tech with at least 6+ years in technical program or project management.
• Experience leading complex engineering programs from concept to delivery in fast-paced environments.
• Solid understanding of CAD/EDA tools, design flows, and semiconductor development processes.
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML concepts applied to engineering or automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end CAD and AI programs with roadmaps, dependencies, resources, risks, governance and delivery across concurrent workstreams.
• Drive development, integration, migration, and adoption of CAD tools, design flows and infrastructure.
• Define and implement AI/ML-enabled CAD initiatives including design-space exploration, verification, layout optimization, and automated debugging.
• Establish program metrics and measure productivity, cycle-time, quality, cost, and ROI while supporting responsible AI practices.
• Align CAD engineering, design technology, IT/HPC, data science, EDA vendors, and executive partners to drive adoption across teams.
