Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to own outcomes in the Public Sector engineering space. You will partner with sales, solution architecture, and engineering to drive high-impact, reusable solutions across government, healthcare, research, and education sectors.

You will shape strategy, manage a portfolio of engagements, and drive delivery end-to-end, ensuring the technical outcomes align with executive priorities and customer needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 6+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years technical program management with software engineers.
• Experience developing and executing product/technical roadmaps.
• Experience owning program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience communicating results to leadership with KPIs and data.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate where your verticals are heading and shape strategy with early engineering involvement.
• Own the framework to decide which opportunities receive engineering investment when demand exceeds capacity.
• Set and apply the bar that qualifies an engagement for scalability, multi-customer applicability, and impact.
• Work with engineers through the build, making architecture, scoping, and trade-off decisions.
• Drive co-build execution with AWS Service Teams and Partners, applying AI to accelerate delivery.
• Own end-to-end delivery from qualification through transfer, resolving cross-team ambiguity.
• Keep leadership updated on investments, outcomes, and impact realized.
• Influence peers and mentor engineers and program managers.
