Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Technical Program Manager for its all-remote R&D PMO team. You will own complex programs central to the AI-powered DevSecOps strategy, driving initiatives across product, engineering, data, and security.

You will collaborate with executives and stakeholders to deliver clear, executable plans and high-impact capabilities. In your first year, you will independently lead strategic programs, balance speed with quality, and ensure transparent stakeholder alignment while delivering

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical programs from inception through scaled adoption.
• Ability to define strategy and create clarity within ambiguity.
• Strong background in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical programs across product, engineering, data, and security, from scope to launch and improvement.
• Translate strategic vision into actionable roadmaps and align on priorities with executives.
• Coordinate distributed teams across time zones with asynchronous communication and clear status updates.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, identify risks, and facilitate decisions balancing speed, quality, and impact.
• Partner with customer success to refine communication plans and workflows.
