Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Program Manager within its Enterprise Technology & AI group to lead cross-functional technology programs that advance strategy. You will navigate ambiguity, align stakeholders, and drive decisions across teams spanning Technology, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Product, and Business operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management experience delivering cross-functional Enterprise Technology, AI & Data programs.
• Ability to simplify complex processes and build structured approaches to ambiguous problems.
• Experience influencing without authority and earning trust with senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for ETA leadership and Executive audiences.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Tech domains such as business systems, data, AI, security, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for large, high-visibility Enterprise Technology, AI & Data initiatives, including scope definition, roadmap development, dependency management, resource planning, execution tracking, and change management.
• Lead enterprise applications and operational transformation programs that improve business processes, increase scalability, and reduce friction for internal teams.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to clarify goals, define success metrics, evaluate trade-offs, and translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Drive operating rhythms across programs, including status reporting, RAID management, milestone reviews, and executive-ready communications.
• Identify program risks, gaps, and blockers early; recommend practical options and drive timely decisions with stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Improve the consistency and effectiveness of program delivery by strengthening governance, documentation, planning practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support the adoption of AI-enabled workflows and automation opportunities that enhance productivity across enterprise systems and operations.
• Contribute to a high-trust, async-first culture by modeling GitLab values, clear communication, and strong remote collaboration practices.
