Job summary

Amazon Ads is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager in New York to lead high-ambiguity, high-impact AI initiatives across product, science, and engineering. You will own planning, execution, and delivery of multi-team programs spanning VP organizations, with focus on Analyst Agent and Ads Customer Journey Model.

You will work at the intersection of advertising technology, ML, and distributed systems to solve complex problems, mentor TPMs, and present plans in executive reviews.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for strategic advertising technology initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• Drive technical strategy and roadmap alignment across engineering, product, science, and business teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams through complex technical challenges in ad serving and measurement.
• Establish governance, metrics, and reporting to ensure VP-level visibility.
• Identify and mitigate risks across large-scale distributed systems handling billions of ad requests daily.
• Influence architecture decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Amazon Ads, AWS, and Retail.
• Drive operational excellence through processes, automation, and best practices.
• Mentor and develop other TPMs across the organization.
