Job summary

Amazon Advertising LLC in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end program management for large-scale ad-tech initiatives. You will drive strategy across engineering, product, science, and business teams to enable scalable, reliable systems and measurable impact.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, design governance, and manage release roadmaps while mentoring other TPMs and contributing to executive reviews in a fast-paced advertising organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for strategic advertising technology initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations.
• Drive technical strategy and roadmap alignment across engineering, product, science, and business teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams through complex technical challenges in areas such as ad serving, campaign management, measurement, and optimization.
• Establish program governance, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to ensure visibility and accountability at the VP level.
• Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks across large-scale distributed systems serving billions of ad requests daily.
• Partner with engineering leaders to influence architecture decisions and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across Amazon Ads, AWS, and Retail organizations.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, automation, and best practices.
• Mentor and develop other TPMs across the organization.
• Represent Amazon Ads technical programs in executive-level reviews and planning sessions.
