Job summary

LSI SOLUTIONS in Victor, NY is seeking a Toolmaker II or Senior to fabricate precision components for prototypes and production on site. The role involves operating machine tools, building parts to drawings, and collaborating with engineers under the direction of the Principal Engineer.

The Senior Toolmaker will program machine tools and assist in planning, fabrication, and assembly of prototype devices, tools, and fixtures. Excellent precision and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade school and/or NYS Certification Papers.
• Journeyman Papers required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts for prototypes and manufacturing to drawing specifications.
• Operate machine tools to produce precision components.
• Program machine tools and assist designers, engineers, and technicians.
• Lead small projects and mentor junior machinists and toolmakers.
