POSITION TITLE: Tool Maker
SHIFT HOURS: 8:00am to 5:00pm (days)
LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY
PAY RANGE: $27.10/hour to $46.50/hour
JOB SUMMARY: Supports development of new product designs/concepts/fixtures through fabrication of components. The Tool Maker will operate various machine tools to produce precision components for prototypes and fixtures. The Tool Maker customizes parts needed for on-going projects and development of LSI products. The Tool Maker may operate hand tools and a microscope to assist in the fabrication and assembly of prototypes and fixtures. In addition, the Senior Tool Maker will program machine tools and may assist designers, engineers, and technicians in the planning, fabrication and assembly of prototype devices, tools, and fixtures.
