Ormco seeks a highly skilled Tool Maker IV to independently manufacture, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize precision molds, dies, tooling, and fixtures. You will work with CNC machining, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, CAD/CAM programming, and CMM verification in a regulated medical device environment.

You will mentor junior machinists, lead process improvements, and drive lean practices to enhance safety, quality, and throughput across tooling projects.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or equivalent in Tool & Die or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain precision molds, tooling, dies, fixtures, and replacement parts.
• Plan and execute tooling projects with efficient machining methods and sequences.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models to fabricate components.
• Operate CNC machines, Wire EDMs, and Sinker EDMs.
• Program and optimize CAM software for accuracy and repeatability.
• Lead tooling improvements and mentor junior machinists.
