Plastic Products Co is seeking a Toolmaker Class A in Seneca, SC. The role focuses on designing, fabricating, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and molds for high-volume production.

You will troubleshoot tooling issues with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and ensure tooling meets exact specifications. The position requires reading drawings, completing a toolmaking apprenticeship, and experience with both manual and CNC machines.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited toolmaking apprenticeship or equivalent experience in precision toolmaking.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience operating manual and CNC machine tools.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and measurement techniques.

Mansioni

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to drawings and specs.
• Operate and maintain lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment to produce tooling components.
• Perform inspections and measurements to verify tooling accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to identify tooling issues and implement improvements.
