Job summary

Omega Plastics Inc. is seeking a Sr. Tool Room Lead to drive hands-on toolmaking efforts and lead tooling initiatives from kickoff to completion.

You will balance in-house work with outsourcing while ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include leading tooling timelines, coordinating with clients, and managing vendor relationships to meet cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on tool and die building experience in plastic injection manufacturing.
• 5+ years leadership experience in a molding/manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years designing reviews with customers or clients.
• 5+ years managing relationships with outsourced vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling projects from kickoff through completion.
• Balance in-house production and outsourcing to meet timelines and budgets.
• Own tooling timelines and be the accountable point for completion dates.
• Manage relationships with external vendors to meet quality, timing and cost targets.
• Support performance management and annual reviews for direct reports.
