OK International seeks a Senior Plastics Project Engineer to drive long-term supplier development, tool life-cycle management, and risk mitigation for critical injection molded components. You will lead complex tool-qualification projects from concept to production, aligning supplier capabilities with growth and cost-saving goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in injection molding process, tooling development, project management and cost savings in lean manufacturing.
• Experience qualifying tooling during molding processes.
• Experience with multi-cavity hot runner/cold runner tooling (100-400 ton machines).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a 3-year plastics tooling roadmap for global supply resilience.
• Lead CapEx justifications and ROI models for tooling investments.
• Manage tooling transfers and relocations across sites.
• Direct qualification lifecycle for new suppliers and materials.
• Standardize supplier governance and quality alignment.
