Job summary

Beehive Industries seeks a Senior Engineer, TFE & Tooling Design to lead tooling design for turbine engine assembly and production. You will own concepts through release, work with manufacturing to resolve issues, and improve process capability and safety.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, experience with CAD and GD&T, and the ability to coordinate across engineering and manufacturing teams. Centennial, CO location with USA-focused manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years mechanical engineering experience in aerospace/defense or similar.
• Experience creating 3D CAD models and released drawings.
• Experience performing tolerance stack-up analyses.
• Experience with large complex assemblies.
• Proficiency with GD&T and ASME Y14 standards.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, fixtures, and equipment for engine build processes.
• Own tooling designs from concept to release and implementation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve build issues and improve processes.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and documentation.
• Perform tolerance analyses to ensure proper interfaces.
• Lead design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Support tooling fabrication, inspection, and production implementation.
• Manage multiple projects to meet schedules.
