Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Senior Engineer, TFE & Tooling Design to lead the design of tooling, fixtures, and mechanical equipment for turbine engine production. You will own tooling concepts through detailed design, release, and implementation while collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and analysis teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in tooling/fixture design within aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Experience producing 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and released design documentation.
• Experience with dimensional tolerance analyses.
• Proficiency in GD&T and ASME Y14 standards.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, fixtures, and mechanical support equipment for development and production engine builds.
• Lead tooling design from concept to release and implementation.
• Troubleshoot build issues with manufacturing teams and develop tooling improvements.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, tolerance analyses, and documentation.
• Perform tolerance stack-ups to ensure interfaces meet requirements.
• Provide support during tooling fabrication, inspection, and production implementation.
• Manage multiple engineering tasks and align with program schedules.
