Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Tool Install design team in complex, high-tech environments such as semiconductor fabs. You will guide cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and designers to deliver projects that meet scope, schedule, and client standards, from initial equipment specs through hook-up and commissioning.

You will manage tool installation schedules, control budgets, and ensure adherence to EHS and cleanroom protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant PM experience in design-focused industrial/high-tech facilities.
• PMP certification is highly desired.
• 10+ years of PM experience in advanced technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify, understand, and manage scope, schedule, and budget of design packages.
• Lead end-to-end tool install design projects from specs to hook-up and handover.
• Develop detailed tool-level installation schedules with critical path focus.
• Coordinate between design team, contractors, and client tool owners to resolve conflicts.
• Control budgets, manage change orders, and procure long-lead components.
• Enforce EHS standards and cleanroom protocols on site.
• Identify risks related to utility capacity, seismic bracing, and vibration isolation.
• Follow change management procedures for project changes.
• Drive continuous improvement and mentor fellow PMs.
