Job summary

SWEP in Tulsa, OK seeks a skilled Tool and Die Maker to set up and operate a range of machine tools and to assemble and verify precision tooling against drawings. You will inspect components with precision gauges, troubleshoot dies, and document tooling activity to support continuous quality improvements.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of experience, fluent English, and familiarity with ISO manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Tool and Die Maker.
• Fluent in English; SWEP's corporate language.
• Exposure to ISO certified manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill press, and EDM machines.
• Machine, fit, and assemble precision tooling and verify conformance to drawing specifications.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth mics, indicators, pin gauges, thread gauges, and functional gauges.
• Troubleshoot dies and recommend design improvements.
• Maintain accurate tooling documentation and records.
• Assist in troubleshooting die issues in operation to maintain quality and production.
• Work closely with engineers and other production staff to ensure tools and dies meet manufacturing needs.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and keep work area clean.
