Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and apprenticeship experience or 5+ years of equivalent in tool and die.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and machinists' hand tools.
• Study blueprints and specifications to plan material selection and assembly sequence.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, shapers and grinders to machine parts and assemblies.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision instruments like dial indicators and micrometers.
