Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President-level Senior Software Engineer to architect and deliver multi-asset tokenization solutions using Canton and Daml. You will work with business, product, operations, and controls to translate market and regulatory requirements into robust production platforms.

This role demands deep Daml/Canton expertise, strong capital-markets knowledge, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable distributed-ledger systems for institutional use in New York.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience designing and delivering production tokenization systems within a financial services or similarly regulated enterprise.
• Expertise in Daml smart-contract engineering including complex templates, choices, contract keys, signatories and authorization; interfaces and reusable package design; lifecycle and archival patterns; privacy and selective disclosure; upgrade-safe contracts and packaging; automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement production-grade Daml smart contracts for the Goldman Sachs digital-assets platform.
• Deliver multi-asset tokenization workflows across securities, funds, collateral mobility and digital-cash use cases with on-ledger contracts and off-ledger services.
• Model and implement end-to-end asset lifecycles including issuance, registry and custody, distribution, settlement, cash management, corporate actions, and asset servicing.
• Design secure Canton solutions including participant topology, identity models, authorization, data visibility, and operational controls.
• Establish engineering standards for Daml model design, contract lifecycle management, testing, packaging, observability, and secure delivery.
• Integrate tokenization workflows with custody, wallet platforms, settlement rails, identity and compliance services, transfer-agents and books/records systems.
• Evaluate emerging blockchain and privacy cryptography technologies for institutional tokenization products.
