Responsibilities

• Handle Title Processing from A to Z and review contracts, title commitments and lender instructions to prepare closing documents.
• Identify and communicate defects in title and actions to correct issues raised in title commitment and lien search.
• Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to gather information for title processing.
• Prepare closing documents including deeds, affidavits, loan documents, settlement statements and documents to clear title.
• Conduct title searches to identify liens or encumbrances on properties.
• Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications related to title processing.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies during the title review process.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Processor to join our team. We are a small commercial and residential real estate law firm representing buyers, sellers and lenders. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the closing process by ensuring that all lender and title-related documents are accurately prepared and processed. This position requires a strong understanding of the closing process. Commercial experience a plus but not required.
