Job summary

A progressive title company in Lombard is seeking a Title Examiner responsible for accurate examination and preparation of title commitments and policies. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work from home part of the week. The candidate should have over 5 years of previous title examining experience and strong skills in organization and communication. Qualifications

• 5+ years previous title examining experience required.
• Curative / Underwriting experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine search packages and prepare title commitments.
• Direct contact with Underwriter and attorneys regarding title issues.
• Maintain accurate files and prepare invoices for transactions.

Skills

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Excellent mathematical skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

Ability to work with confidential information

Education

Bachelor's degree or established business background

5+ years previous title examining experience

Curative / Underwriting experience

Paralegal certificate
