National Title & Escrow, LLC in Dexter, Missouri is seeking an experienced Title Examiner/Title Commitment Specialist. The role requires independent analysis of deeds, mortgages, liens, and other instruments to prepare accurate title commitments for real estate transactions in Missouri and Arkansas.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in title examination, can manage multiple files, and communicate clearly with underwriters, lenders, and attorneys.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on title examination and/or title commitment experience.
• Ability to independently examine title and prepare title commitments with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments and other recorded instruments.
• Experience reviewing chains of title and identifying defects or ownership issues.
• Ability to read and analyze legal descriptions and title requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough title examinations for residential and commercial transactions.
• Review title searches, public records, deeds, trusts, mortgages, liens and easements.
• Independently prepare accurate title commitments per underwriter requirements.
• Identify and communicate title defects and necessary requirements to closing staff.
• Maintain organized title files and meet turnaround times.
• Work with underwriters, lenders, attorneys, and other parties to clear title.
