MileOne Autogroup is recruiting a Senior Tag & Title Clerk to handle vehicle registrations, tax and title paperwork, and DMV transfers. You will verify funds and ensure lienholder payments are accurate before title processing, while maintaining title records and reporting on outstanding items.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
• Automotive Dealership experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state where titled.
• Process registrations for loaner vehicles as short-term rental vehicles.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the DMV.
• Verify funds and correct lienholder payment before processing titles.
• Ensure information is complete and accurate on applications.
• Maintain a system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Report status of missing or problematic titles to management.
