Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a passionate Technical Program Manager to drive Data Center and Network Capacity in AMER. You will assess demand with network resources to deliver prime solutions for customers and lead cross-functional programs across AWS to improve utilization and availability.

You will own large network scaling portfolios, report progress to senior leadership, and mentor teammates while coordinating across data center teams to deliver capacity on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• Experience delivering cross-functional projects in environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with large-scale data center network implementations and support.

Responsibilities

• Own large network scaling portfolios and onboard scaling functions into the Global Network Delivery organization.
• Provide regular program progress updates to senior leadership with root-cause analysis.
• Summarize escalation support and critical leadership decisions.
• Mentor newer team members and manage multiple concurrent programs.
• Develop plans and build implementations enabling cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify process improvements and gather requirements from internal customers.
• Forecast resources and material needs with sourcing and data center teams.
• Drive adoption with internal customers through change management.
• Anticipate risks and escalate appropriately to keep priorities aligned.
• Maintain focus on delivering a strong customer experience.
