Role Overview
The Boutique Specialist Watchmaker provides immediate, comprehensive service to clients arriving at the Beverly Hills boutique. Responsibilities include diagnosing repair needs, communicating findings, managing workshop tools, and ensuring all processes align with Richemont quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and evaluate watches, clocks, and accessories for repair or maintenance.
- Determine appropriate services and components based on product history, warranty status, and client requirements.
- Maintain and calibrate workshop equipment, organize tools, and uphold safety guidelines.
- Execute routine technical skill assessments and participate in continuing education and brand trainings.
- Communicate repair decisions and progress to sales associates and clients in a clear, professional manner.
- Provide feedback on quality issues to the Regional Technical Manager and support Maison-sponsored events.
- Collaborate with boutique personnel, managers, directors, and other stakeholders to coordinate service activities.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited watchmaking diploma or certification, or equivalent experience validated by an exam.
- Minimum of 5‑10 years of watchmaking experience, with proven ability to repair high‑level complications and calibers.
- Retail working experience, particularly with luxury brands, is preferred.
- Ability to perform all functions of watchmaking at the level determined by tenure and skill.
Personal Skills
- Computer proficiency; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
