Qualifications

• 8+ years of TIG welding experience in Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong safety orientation and compliance with safety protocols.
• Ability to stand long periods and move equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled TIG welding on UHV components following detailed blueprints and travelers.
• Conduct leak detection tests to validate weld integrity.
• Troubleshoot welding process challenges to minimize production disruptions.
• Fabricate and repair weldments to meet technical specs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability and welding protocols.
• Weld prototypes for new product development and provide feedback on weldability.
