Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate and weld flight hardware for spaceflight systems using TIG welding (GTAW). You will work with our team of engineers to implement manufacturing processes, maintain safety, quality, and productivity, and support integration with engineering during fabrication.

Ideal candidates have 5 years GTAW welding in aerospace or precision manufacturing, experience with automated welding equipment, and the ability to pass a weld test and a written math

Qualifications

• 5 years GTAW welding experience in an aerospace or precision manufacturing production environment.
• Experience in using automated welding equipment.
• 5 years of experience GTAW welding Inconel.
• Written math test and Weld Test (1F, 2G, 3G and 6G) must be passed.
• U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or eligible immigration status.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld flight hardware for various spaceflight systems fluid components using Tig welding (GTAW).
• Collaborate with engineering to implement and refine new manufacturing processes.
• Report to the Weld Shop Supervisor and support manufacturing integration teams.
