Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an entry to senior level GTAW (TIG) welder to support aerospace hardware. You will work under supervision with experienced welders and engineers to perform manual GTAW welding on aerospace-grade materials.

Responsibilities include joint preparation, interpreting drawings, and maintaining equipment while following safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–10 years GTAW (TIG) welding experience in a manufacturing or vocational setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual GTAW welding on aerospace components per WPS and work instructions.
• Prepare weld joints: clean, fit, tack, and position parts per drawings.
• Read engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and process docs.
• Self-inspect welds against standards and report defects to lead welder or QA.
• Set up GTAW equipment including filler wire, tungsten, shielding gas, and machine parameters.
