Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a Tier 3 application support specialist to serve as the highest escalation point for an enterprise digital evidence platform. This full-time role can be performed remotely with occasional travel to Washington DC as needed.

You will analyze complex issues, collaborate with software development, QA, and infrastructure teams, review logs, and document resolution steps. A US Public Trust clearance and citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, systems engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years in technical support or application support, Tier 2/3 preferred.
• US Public Trust clearance; US citizenship required.
• Strong troubleshooting across apps, databases, APIs, and integrations.
• Experience reading logs (JSON, SQL, IIS/Apache).
• Proficient in ticketing, incident management, and support metrics.
• Ability to explain complex tech to non-technical users.
• Excellent documentation and collaboration with engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for the help desk and resolve advanced issues.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems in the digital evidence platform.
• Collaborate with software development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify root causes.
• Review logs and diagnostic data to troubleshoot errors and performance issues.
• Provide detailed troubleshooting notes and resolution steps for KBs.
• Support platform updates, releases, and configuration changes after deployments.
• Assist in improving help desk processes and user documentation.
• Onboard and train staff on advanced features and complex issues.
