Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years relevant experience demonstrated by work, military or training.
• 6+ years in threat hunting, incident response or advanced threat analytics.
• Strong SIEM experience and ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex, high-priority hunt missions using threat intel and telemetry.
• Analyze TTPs aligned to MITRE ATT&CK; translate into proactive defense and detection logic.
• Provide technical direction during major security incidents and investigations.
• Mentor junior analysts and coordinate hunt engagements.
• Synthesize findings into leadership-friendly summaries and metrics.
• Mature hunting methods and implement automated workflows across SIEM/EDR/data lake.
• Partner with Threat Intelligence, IR, SOC, and Security Engineering teams.
• Develop custom rules across technologies and IOAs/IOCs.
• Maintain readiness for urgent security events, including off-hours response.
