Job summary

Indiana University Health in Indiana seeks a Specialist-Third Party Device II to lead the lifecycle management of third-party and clinical technologies, focusing on device integration to support patient care.

You will coordinate with Information Services, Clinical Engineering, vendors, and clinical stakeholders, manage onboarding, troubleshoot, and drive standardization and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Vendor product and hardware certification required.
• Certifications in information services and healthcare software.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-functional technical teams.
• Healthcare regulatory and compliance experience.
• Expertise in clinical systems, EMR, and decision support.
• Experience leading complex system changes.
• Experience working directly with stakeholders and executives.
• Additional certifications (ITIL, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, Healthcare Technology Manager, HL7) preferred.
• FHIR Fundamentals/Healthcare Integration training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management of third-party and clinical technologies.
• Coordinate device intake, technical assessment, and onboarding.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior staff and promote documentation standards.
• Drive process improvements and ensure security, connectivity, and support standards.
