Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Specialist-Third Party Device II to provide advanced operational support in the lifecycle management of third-party and clinical technologies, focusing on device integration to support patient care.

You will manage device intake, technical assessment, and onboarding in collaboration with Information Services, Clinical Engineering, Information Security, vendors, and clinical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with security and connectivity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Vendor product and hardware certification.
• Certifications in information services and healthcare software preferred.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience with healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience with clinical systems, EMR, and decision support.
• Experience leading complex system changes.
• Experience working with key stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Additional certifications including ITIL, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM), HL7 Fundamentals or similar preferred.
• FHIR Fundamentals/Healthcare Integration Basic training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management of third-party and clinical technologies with focus on device integration.
• Coordinate device intake, technical assessment, and onboarding with IS, Clinical Engineering, Information Security, vendors, and clinical stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced team members and promote consistency in documentation, inventory management, and lifecycle processes.
