Job summary

Able Too Work is seeking a Staff Engineer, Hardware Test - Thermal to lead plan, schedule, resource, and execute thermal and mechanical tests on trays, racks, and related equipment.

You will create test plans, determine instrumentation and data collection methods, and develop automated scripts to read data from prototype computers. You will guide lab technicians and present results to management and customers.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of related experience in hardware test engineering.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coordinating lab technicians and conducting thermal/mechanical tests.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, obtain resources, and execute thermal and mechanical tests for trays, racks, and related equipment.
• Create test plans, data collection methods, and analysis procedures.
• Develop automated methods to execute tests and read data from prototype computers.
• Coordinate and direct lab technicians, report results to management and customers.
• Establish best practices for test development and deployment on global teams.
