Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer, Hardware Test - Thermal, to lead test activities for thermal and mechanical systems, including trays, racks and related equipment. The role focuses on planning, resource coordination, data collection, and analysis to verify performance to specification.

You will develop automated test methods, scripts, and instrumentation strategies, while coordinating with lab staff and engineering teams to drive successful test programs.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of related experience in hardware test and thermal engineering.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and test methods to determine success criteria.
• Create test plans using design of experiments and data analysis methodologies.
• Arrange resources and units to test; ensure proper instrumentation and data collection.
• Develop scripts to read data from prototype computers and interconnect lab equipment.
• Lead lab technicians and coordinate test execution with management and customers.
• Design tests to meet precision and resolution for performance to spec.
• Analyze test data, report results, and present findings to stakeholders.
