Job description

We are hiring a Test Engineer with a strong background in thermal and mechanical engineering to support lab-based validation and testing for cutting-edge semiconductor systems.

This is a 100% onsite role in Santa Clara, CA, working in a fast-paced lab environment with advanced hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thermal testing and validation of hardware systems in lab environments
• Work with instrumentation and data acquisition systems (DAQ, LabVIEW, etc.)
• Measure and analyze temperature, airflow, pressure, and velocity
• Use lab equipment such as thermocouples, multimeters, oscilloscopes, airflow chambers, and flow meters
• Conduct hardware setup, assembly, and teardown for testing and analysis
• Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Support thermal modeling and simulation activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field
• Strong fundamentals in:
• Thermodynamics
• Heat Transfer
• Hands-on experience in testing/lab environments
• Experience with instrumentation and measurement systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with thermal modeling tools (Icepak, Flotherm, etc.)
• Exposure to hardware/system-level validation
• 2–3 years of relevant engineering or research experience
• 100% Onsite – No remote/hybrid option
• W2 Only – No C2C or 1099
