Job summary

Acceler8 Talent partners with a well-funded AI networking hardware startup in the SF Bay Area seeking a Hardware Product Engineer - Thermal to drive development and manufacturing scale-up of liquid cooling solutions for high-performance AI networking systems.

You will own productization, partner with design, reliability, manufacturing and suppliers, lead thermal qualification, and support NPI builds and factory deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Thermal, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in hardware product engineering, NPI, or thermal systems.
• Proven on-floor experience with hardware builds during NPI or mass production.
• Expertise in liquid cooling design, manufacturing, qualification, and reliability testing.
• Strong understanding of thermal validation methodologies and environmental testing.

Responsibilities

• Own productization and manufacturing readiness of advanced thermal solutions.
• Partner with design, reliability, manufacturing and suppliers to transition to volume production.
• Lead thermal qualification activities including performance, leak, burst, and long-term reliability tests.
• Provide hands-on support during NPI builds, ramps, and factory deployments.
• Define thermal manufacturing processes, test methods, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to drive improvements and quality.
• Evaluate new thermal technologies to support future high-density AI infrastructure.
