Acceler8 Talent is partnering with a well-funded technology company in Santa Clara to hire a Thermal Engineer specializing in liquid cooling for high-power data-center hardware. This on-site role leads design, modeling and validation of cooling solutions, from early analysis through physical testing and system integration.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of thermal-design experience, deep knowledge of heat transfer, and hands-on experience with liquid- or two-phase-cooling, using tools

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of thermal-design experience.
• At least two years of hands-on liquid- or two-phase-cooling design experience.
• Strong knowledge of heat-transfer fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Flotherm, Flotherm XT, FloEFD, Icepak or equivalent tools.
• Experience taking thermal designs from modeling through physical validation.
• Designed cooling solutions for high-power commercial electronic systems.
• Worked closely with technical suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, modeling and validation of cooling systems for high-power electronic equipment.
• Own thermal solutions from early analysis and simulation through physical testing and system integration.
• Design heat sinks, cold plates and liquid-cooling loops; develop air-, liquid-, and two-phase cooling solutions.
