Henkel, a global leader in adhesives, sealants and functional coatings, seeks a researcher for the Adhesive Technologies unit in Minnesota. The role focuses on lab management, material development, and process improvements to support cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have a degree in chemical engineering or materials science and 1+ years in R&D, with knowledge of polymer science and adhesive chemistries. This is an onsite position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
1+ years of work experience in research and development.
Knowledge of MS Office, LabVIEW, AutoCAD or similar technical software.

Responsibilities

Manages laboratory functions, including inventory tracking, purchasing of consumables, and raw material onboarding.
Identifies and develops new approaches, solutions, processes, products within an agreed timeframe.
Ensures compliance with corporate SHE standards and manages the lab and innovation process.
Provides technical support services to Manufacturing and Quality as required.
Executes process developments to support cross-functional teams to achieve new technology products.
Provides guidance on patents, trademarks and proprietary agreements.
Approves technical readiness of raw materials and products as well as first production and quality specs.
Tests or supervises tests on product stability and performance.
This role is fully onsite.
