Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company seeks a Thermal Engineer to join the Thermal Modeling Group. You will develop thermal models for BAC’s cooling equipment and support NPI, certification, and global engineering platforms. Requires strong thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and programming in MATLAB, C/C++, and EES.

Travel to global centers and manufacturing facilities is possible. BAC offers comprehensive benefits, annual bonus, and a 40-hour work week with occasional after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
• 8–10 years engineering experience with BS; or 4–6 years with MS; product development preferred.
• Strong thermodynamics/heat transfer background and HVAC knowledge desirable.
• Ability to develop and validate thermal models and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermal performance models for heat rejection equipment.
• Provide thermal expertise to NPI and certification programs.
• Improve thermal tools, software, and DOE workflows.
• Create technical reports and present results to internal/external stakeholders.
• Travel to global centers and manufacturing facilities as needed.
