Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Physics, or related.
• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Extensive experience in thermal and structural analysis and testing of electronic hardware.
• Strong knowledge of design principles and analysis methodologies.
• Experience with ANSYS, COSMOS, TSS, TAS, SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal and structural analyses of electronic hardware designs.
• Determine component temperatures under varied conditions.
• Assess random vibration and fatigue life of hardware.
• Review analyses from subcontractors.
• Support environmental qualification and testing.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations.
• Support quality, verification, and documentation.
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned.
