Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Senior Thermal Product Design Engineer to fuel the next generation of products. You will design thermal solutions and translate thermal technologies into robust, manufacturable designs from concept to production across multiple business segments.

You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, perform CFD thermal simulations (Icepak/Flotherm/Fluent), and build and test physical prototypes.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent experience in thermal design.
• 5+ years of electronics thermal design experience.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
• Proficiency with at least one thermal simulation tool (Icepak/Flotherm/Fluent).
• Hands-on thermal testing with sensors and data acquisition.
• Strong collaboration and leadership within a multi-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dynamic and fast-paced product development environment.
• Design new thermal solutions to enable NVIDIA's next generation of products.
• Investigate relevant technologies and design concepts.
• Perform thermal simulations using industry standard CFD tools.
• Characterize thermal designs and electronic assemblies: building-up physical prototype assemblies, instrumenting those assemblies for testing, carrying out testing with specific diagnostic software, summarizing data, disassembling, modifying and reassembling systems.
• Present analysis summaries and test reports.
