Job summary

Qualifications

• A PhD in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field with emphasis in CFD, Heat transfer, Chemistry, or related areas.
• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to develop physics-based models and to work with AI/ML hybrid modeling approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop physics-based models for Thermal/CFD/Chemistry applications in semiconductor capital equipment.
• Apply DOE, optimization, and data-driven methods to correlate simulation with experiments.
• Conduct uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and statistical inference.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process and software engineers to define requirements and plans.
• Prepare written reports and present results to design teams and management.
