Job summary

Roboticsconnected seeks an experienced Thermal Engineer to model and optimize thermal systems for complex electronics. You will develop conduction, convection, and air-cooled solutions, evaluate performance with plots, and propose improvements using advanced materials like vapor chambers and heat pipes.

Strong background in CFD with FloEFD is required. You will design convective and conductive solutions, run transient and steady-state CFD analyses, and provide actionable recommendations such as

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in thermal analysis and modeling of complex systems including silicon packages, PCBs, and fans.
• Proficiency with CFD modeling in Siemens FloEFD including transient and steady-state analysis.
• Understanding of CFD model optimization for reducing run time through meshing strategy and component interaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermal models of conduction, natural convection, and forced air cooled systems.
• Provide design feedback via plots and screenshots of thermal behavior and air flow with recommendations to improve performance.
• Design convective and conductive thermal solutions including fans, heatsinks, vapor chambers, TIMs, and TECs.
