Job summary

Samaritan Counseling Center of Atlanta seeks a licensed mental health professional to join our Leadership Team. This role splits roughly 50% clinical psychotherapy and 50% administrative leadership, including overseeing intake and supervision tasks.

The candidate will provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families, conduct biopsychosocial-spiritual assessments, and contribute to organizational initiatives and staff development.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed mental health professional in Georgia (or license-eligible).
• AAMFT or LPC-approved supervisor (or eligible).
• Minimum 4–5 years of licensed experience.
• Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and/or families.
• Commitment to integrative care across psychological, spiritual, and community dimensions.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services (individual, couple, group, and/or family).
• Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social-spiritual assessments for new clients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within 48 hours.
• Provide crisis intervention and clinical support for emergencies.
• Respond promptly to intake referrals and manage client billing per SCCA policies.
• Participate in Leadership Team and monthly staff meetings.
• Provide administrative supervision for associate-level therapists.
• Ensure accreditation standards and annual requirements are met.
