Job summary

Marietta Springs LLC in Atlanta seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead the clinical department, ensuring quality client care, proper staffing, documentation, and regulatory compliance. The role maintains a small clinical caseload while supervising clinical staff.

The incumbent will oversee scheduling, treatment planning, and intakes, and collaborate with the Clinical Director and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, MFT)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the applicable state
• Behavioral health or substance use treatment experience
• Supervisory or clinical leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA, clinical documentation, treatment planning, and regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with electronic health records (Kipu preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support therapists, counselors, intake staff, care coordinators, and group facilitators.
• Manage clinical schedules, caseloads, group coverage, and daily workflow.
• Oversee intakes, treatment planning, documentation, discharge planning, and level-of-care transitions.
• Provide guidance for crisis intervention and complex client situations.
• Conduct chart reviews to ensure documentation meets clinical, payer, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director, Program Director, Operations, Medical, Admissions, and Utilization Review teams.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of clinical staff.
• Participate in quality improvement, compliance, audits, and accreditation preparation.
• Maintain a small caseload and provide direct clinical services as needed.
