Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Senior Textiles Designer to lead textile design across home categories, including rugs, bedding, and bath textiles.

You will guide concepts from ideation to launch and collaborate with design, merchandising, and overseas partners to ensure timely production. Based in Portland, OR, this role requires 5–7 years of product design in textiles, strong Adobe CC skills, and a passion for color, pattern, and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in product design with a textiles focus for retail.
• Strong ability to build seasonal textile assortments and concepts.
• Proven track record of leading design projects end-to-end.
• Excellent eye for color, pattern, and material quality.
• Experience presenting concepts to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead textile design across home categories from concept to launch.
• Develop cohesive color palettes aligned with brand concepts.
• Create custom artwork for bedding, pillows, wallpaper, and more.
• Present design direction in weekly reviews and quarterly design meetings.
• Collaborate with vendors and overseas partners to ensure on-time production.
• Maintain high quality standards and consistent color stories with vendors.
• Produce design presentations with inspiration, CADs, and samples.
