Job summary

SBH Fashion in Summit, NJ is seeking a talented Designer, Home Textiles to translate brand vision into bedding, bath and rug collections. You will collaborate with a small Product Design team and report to Senior Designer, Textiles & Home Products.

You will create original textiles and surface designs for wovens, embroideries, and prints, using hand drawing and digital tools, while keeping quality, sustainability and brand aesthetics in mind.

Qualifications

• Create fabric and product designs across bedding categories with strong brand alignment.
• Learn and maintain the brand’s creative direction and design language.
• Research trends in fashion, home, nature, and architecture for seasonal Direction.
• Maintain understanding of fabrications and techniques to ensure quality and price.
• Execute textile and product designs via hand drawing and digital tools.
• Collaborate with PD, Color, Materials, Merchandising and Production.

Responsibilities

• Create unique designs for wovens, embroideries, prints and knits aligned with brand aesthetics.
• Understand and apply the brand’s design language and direction.
• Research trends to inform seasonal and product direction.
• Develop repeats and factory-ready specs and surface designs.
• Render bed looks using Adobe Creative Suite and AI tools for reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on product execution and approvals.
