Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a designer to lead in-house rug and textile design within the Studio in Product Development. You will work with sourcing and vendors to develop original art at a strategic value and ensure production readiness.

The role requires strong design sense, weaving knowledge, and digital art skills, with 4+ years in related work. On-site in San Francisco, Monday–Thursday, with optional Friday travel for production.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field is preferred.
• Strong weaving knowledge and yarn/color impact understanding.
• Aspirational design with cost-conscious approach.
• Digital art skills required; hand drawing helps.
• 4+ years in related industry preferred.
• Good command of home design aesthetics and clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design all in-house rugs, jacquards and yarn dyes.
• Create concepts and present to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Meet with vendors to discuss design and cost capabilities.
• Pitch colors and stay current with trends and fabrics.
• Follow production timelines and maintain category organization.
• Travel as needed for production.
• Set up concepts digitally and in showroom spaces.
• Collaborate with contractors as needed.
