GEICO is seeking a Senior Tester to join our Specialty product organization in Bethesda, MD. This role focuses on executing manual and automated testing across Agile and Waterfall projects, validating requirements, and ensuring quality before production releases.

You will lead test efforts, identify defects, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to mitigate risks and improve processes.

Formación

• Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices.
• Experience executing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual and automated testing across Agile and Waterfall projects.
• Validate user stories and acceptance criteria to meet requirements.
• Test system enhancements, config changes, and new features before release.
• Identify, document, track defects and gaps.
• Analyze test results and recommend quality improvements.
