Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior or Principal Claims Product Tester to join our Claims Platform organization in Maryland. You will validate new system functionality, run manual and automated tests, and ensure high-quality releases for internal and external users.

Collaboration with Product, Technology, and Business stakeholders is essential to meet acceptance criteria and mitigate risk. You will help advance GEICO's testing practices toward automation-first approaches, contribute to complex enterprise

Qualifications

Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices.
Experience executing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute manual and automated testing activities across Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
Validate user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
Test claims system enhancements, configuration changes, and new product features prior to production release.
Identify, document, track, and communicate defects, missed requirements, and business process gaps.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve quality and reduce risk.
