Zusammenfassung

GEICO is seeking a Senior or Principal Claims Product Tester to join the Claims Platform team. You will validate new system functionality, enhancements, and changes to ensure high-quality releases for internal and external users.

You will execute manual and automated tests across Agile and Waterfall environments, maintain automated test suites, and collaborate with Product, Technology, and Business stakeholders to meet acceptance criteria and reduce risk.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with software testing and QA practices.
• Experience executing and maintaining automated tests.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply complex technical information.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• 1+ years of claims and software testing experience (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Execute manual and automated testing across Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Validate user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Test claims system enhancements, configuration changes, and new product features prior to production release.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate defects, missed requirements, and business process gaps.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve quality and reduce risk.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in BDD and TDD practices to improve product quality.
• Coordinate and lead testing efforts across projects while tracking progress.
